About the Role

This is a critical position within Mountain Healthcare Ltd, responsible for leading and managing the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) service. The SARC Manager will play a pivotal role in developing a strategic vision for the service, ensuring changes meet internal and external expectations and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver safe and effective services to all clients of the SARC, meeting national and local targets in relation to rape and sexual assault.
  • Evaluate and assess current service delivery, implementing changes in practice that deliver significant and substantial improvements in access and service delivery, while working within a budget.
  • Manage all employees associated with the SARC, ensuring a high level of service delivery and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (NMC) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Basic Life Support training (provided).
  • Working with vulnerable people.
  • Excellent communication skills and styles.
  • Proven strong judgement and analysis.
  • Venepuncture trained.
  • Managerial experience.
  • Trained to complete forensic examinations.
  • Awareness of SARC commissioning.
