About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our Networks business team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our network operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update and maintain industry databases with accurate and relevant information.
  • Provide first-line query and complaint resolution, escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Maintain asset records for live and adopted sites.
  • Order materials and raise purchase orders using SAGE.
  • Assist the Network Manager in managing electricity network operations.
  • Validate information received from third parties and update relevant systems.
  • Distribute relevant information to internal teams or customers as needed.
  • Administer MPAN requests and issue to customers, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain operational records with required information and highlight actions to responsible personnel.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong record-keeping and administration skills.
  • Resilient, proactive, and organized.
  • Good working knowledge and proficiency in the use of IT systems, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to make decisions and be accountable for those decisions.
  • Initiative and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated but able to function as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills, working to deadlines and prioritizing tasks and objectives.
