Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our Networks business team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our network operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Update and maintain industry databases with accurate and relevant information.
- Provide first-line query and complaint resolution, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Maintain asset records for live and adopted sites.
- Order materials and raise purchase orders using SAGE.
- Assist the Network Manager in managing electricity network operations.
- Validate information received from third parties and update relevant systems.
- Distribute relevant information to internal teams or customers as needed.
- Administer MPAN requests and issue to customers, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Maintain operational records with required information and highlight actions to responsible personnel.
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong record-keeping and administration skills.
- Resilient, proactive, and organized.
- Good working knowledge and proficiency in the use of IT systems, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Ability to make decisions and be accountable for those decisions.
- Initiative and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated but able to function as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills, working to deadlines and prioritizing tasks and objectives.
