Senior IT Project Coordinator

Position: Senior IT Project Coordinator
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 10 Months
Interview Format: Both Virtual and In-Person
Onsite Requirement: 3-4 days per week
Role Overview:
- Mandatory: PMP certification from PMI or a recognized PM certification from Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing IT projects, particularly in infrastructure delivery, with a strong understanding of network and server systems, as well as cloud solutions and vendor oversight.
- Knowledge of networking technologies including switches, firewalls, and circuits, along with industry standards and best practices.
- Oversee projects that involve Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or IT infrastructure elements such as servers, storage, operating system upgrades, networking software installations, and vulnerability remediation.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-faceted projects.
- Familiarity with various software development methodologies, with a preference for Agile practices.
