Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the Sales & Solutions Engineering initiatives, particularly focusing on hyperscale cloud and AI clientele.
  • Assisting the Sales Team throughout all project phases: from presales to contract negotiations (technical aspects) and client technical discussions.
  • Serving as the primary technical liaison for clients on assigned projects, ensuring alignment with company business objectives.
  • Actively engaging in the RFP process with our clientele.
  • Collaborating with various departments to develop comprehensive business case analyses.
  • Providing precise sales forecasts to the organization.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the development schedules across EMEA by working closely with the New Site Development and Delivery Teams.
  • Proactively enhancing the Solutions Engineering role to align with the evolving needs of VDC and its customers.
  • Preparing and presenting technical proposals, architectural designs, and facilitating customer site visits.
  • Driving opportunities by supporting Sales teams in the design, positioning, and validation of technology solutions.
  • Conducting in-depth discussions on product features and benefits in relation to Vantage's data center offerings.
  • Securing customer buy-in by demonstrating potential cost savings and operational enhancements.
  • Performing detailed assessments of clients' network, power, cooling, and spatial requirements for current and proposed IT infrastructures.
  • Delivering technical proposals, architectural overviews, and conducting guided tours of facilities for existing and prospective clients.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent professional experience is essential.
  • Extensive experience in Data Center Infrastructure solution sales, marketing, and management.
  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
