We deliver customized tax guidance across all facets of taxation, assisting our clients in navigating the intricate landscape of tax regulations, often across multiple jurisdictions. Our aim is to ensure compliance while helping them manage significant financial and reputational risks, enabling informed decisions regarding their tax obligations, whether they are individuals, business owners, or corporations. Additionally, we strive to resolve any disputes with tax authorities promptly.

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager within our National Tax Reporting division, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Establishing enduring relationships with a portfolio of clients for which you will be accountable.
  • Leading the Tax Reporting team based in Milton Keynes, offering mentorship, coaching, and training to junior staff to maximize their career potential.
  • Reviewing and approving corporate tax computations and tax accounting, alongside conducting tax assurance reviews and engaging in advisory tasks that arise from your reporting duties.
  • Managing timelines and fees, while overseeing work-in-progress for your client portfolio.
  • Proactively discussing relevant tax opportunities with clients and collaborating with tax partners and the broader tax team to implement these initiatives.
  • Actively participating in the national Tax Reporting Team to ensure that national protocols are effectively implemented and adhered to in Milton Keynes.

Candidate Profile

    • Significant experience managing a client portfolio to fulfill annual Tax Reporting obligations.
    • Demonstrated comprehensive technical tax knowledge and expertise.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a larger team, effectively managing all team members.
    • Experience in overseeing client financials, establishing timelines, adhering to budgets, and negotiating fees.
    • Proven track record of identifying business development opportunities within tax clients and ideally across other service lines.
    • Willingness to embrace leadership roles both locally and within the broader Tax Reporting team.
    • Commitment to fostering the development of junior staff through coaching and mentorship.
