We deliver customized guidance across all taxation domains, assisting our clients in navigating the intricacies of tax regulations, often across multiple sectors and jurisdictions. Our goal is to ensure they meet their obligations and pay the appropriate tax amounts, thereby managing significant financial and reputational risks while making informed decisions regarding their tax positions, whether they are individuals, business owners, or corporations. Additionally, we assist clients in swiftly resolving any disputes with tax authorities.

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager in our National Tax Reporting team, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Establishing long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of clients under your management.
  • Leading the Tax Reporting team based in Milton Keynes, offering guidance, mentorship, and training to junior staff to maximize their career potential.
  • Reviewing and approving corporate tax computations and tax accounting, alongside conducting tax assurance reviews and engaging in ad-hoc advisory tasks stemming from your reporting duties.
  • Negotiating timelines and fees while managing work-in-progress for your client portfolio.
  • Proactively discussing tax opportunities relevant to clients and collaborating with tax partners and the broader tax team to implement such initiatives.
  • Actively participating in the national Tax Reporting Team, ensuring the rollout and adherence to national procedures within Milton Keynes.

Candidate Profile

    • Extensive experience managing a client portfolio to fulfill annual Tax Reporting obligations.
    • Demonstrated comprehensive technical tax knowledge and expertise.
    • Ability to work effectively within a larger team, proactively managing all team members.
    • Broad experience in managing client financials, setting timelines, adhering to budgets, and negotiating fees.
    • Experience in identifying business development opportunities for tax clients, ideally across various service lines.
    • Willingness to assume leadership roles within Milton Keynes and the wider Tax Reporting team.
    • Commitment to mentoring junior staff through coaching and support.
