About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our National Tax Reporting team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our tax advisory team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, leading a team of tax professionals, and providing guidance on tax compliance and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing tax advisory services and ensuring timely delivery of tax reports.
  • Lead a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Review and approve corporation tax computations and tax accounting, as well as undertake tax assurance reviews.
  • Negotiate and raise timetables and fees with clients, and be responsible for WIP management on your portfolio of clients.
  • Proactively identify tax opportunities for clients and work with the tax partners and wider tax team to deliver on such work.
  • Ensure national procedures are rolled out and fully adopted in Milton Keynes.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience of working with a portfolio of clients to deliver on annual Tax Reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrate broad and strong technical tax knowledge and experience.
  • Works effectively as part of a larger team, who proactively manages all team members.
  • Broad experience of managing the financials on clients, setting timetables delivering on budgets and negotiating fees with clients.
  • Experience of identifying opportunities for business development on tax clients (and ideally across other service lines).
  • Willingness to take on leadership roles both within Milton Keynes and across the wider Tax reporting team.
  • Responsible for assisting the development of more junior staff through coaching.
