Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager within our National Tax Reporting team, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Fostering long-term relationships with a designated portfolio of clients.
  • Leading the Tax Reporting team based in Milton Keynes, offering mentorship, coaching, and training to junior staff to maximize their career potential.
  • Reviewing and approving corporate tax computations and tax accounting, alongside conducting tax assurance reviews and engaging in ad-hoc advisory projects stemming from your reporting duties.
  • Managing timelines and fees, as well as overseeing work-in-progress for your client portfolio.
  • Proactively discussing relevant tax opportunities with clients and collaborating with tax partners and the broader tax team to execute such initiatives.
  • Actively participating in the national Tax Reporting Team to ensure the implementation and adherence to national procedures within Milton Keynes.

Candidate Profile

    • Significant experience managing a portfolio of clients to fulfill annual Tax Reporting obligations.
    • Demonstrated comprehensive technical tax knowledge and expertise.
    • Ability to work effectively within a larger team, proactively managing all team members.
    • Extensive experience overseeing client financials, establishing timelines, adhering to budgets, and negotiating fees.
    • Proven track record in identifying business development opportunities within tax clients, ideally across various service lines.
    • Willingness to assume leadership roles both locally and within the broader Tax Reporting team.
    • Commitment to mentoring and developing junior staff through coaching.
