Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior/Manager to join our National Tax Reporting team at Forvis Mazars LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, leading the Milton Keynes-based Tax Reporting team, and providing guidance and coaching to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing them with expert tax advice and guidance.
  • Lead the Tax Reporting team, ensuring that all tax computations and tax accounting are reviewed and approved in a timely manner.
  • Undertake tax assurance reviews and provide ad-hoc advisory work to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and work with the tax partners and wider tax team to deliver on such work.
  • Ensure that national procedures are rolled out and fully adopted in Milton Keynes.
  • Manage the financials of clients, setting timetables, delivering on budgets, and negotiating fees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify opportunities for business growth and development.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience of working with a portfolio of clients to deliver on annual Tax Reporting requirements.
  • Broad and strong technical tax knowledge and experience.
  • Broad experience of managing the financials of clients, setting timetables, delivering on budgets, and negotiating fees.
  • Experience of identifying opportunities for business development on tax clients.
  • Willingness to take on leadership roles within Milton Keynes and across the wider Tax Reporting team.
  • Ability to assist in the development of more junior staff through coaching and mentoring.
