Position Overview:

In the role of Head of Product Strategy for Geospatial Solutions at Axon, you will be instrumental in the Real-Time Operations division, a pivotal area of focus for the organization. Your leadership will be essential in revolutionizing public safety through innovative products such as Axon Dispatch and Axon Respond. The objective is to position Axon as the premier platform for real-time operations in public safety, enhancing decision-making and situational awareness for first responders, dispatchers, and command personnel.

Recognizing the critical role of location in emergency scenarios is vital for improving public safety and response efficiency. Your mission will be to empower global clients to pinpoint where assistance is most urgently required, optimize response distribution, guide first responders effectively, and deliver comprehensive geospatial insights for any incident.

You will tackle fundamental customer challenges by conceptualizing solutions, devising strategic plans, engaging directly in product development, and building a high-performing team to realize your vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Work Arrangement: Hybrid role based in London

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Senior Director of Product, Real-Time Operations

Team Leadership: 2-3 direct reports

  • Drive organizational growth by articulating a vision, establishing the roadmap, and spearheading the execution of a significant segment of Axon's Real-Time Operations portfolio.
  • Foster robust relationships with clients, gain deep insights into their requirements, and deliver outstanding results that build trust.
  • Exhibit leadership in initiating new projects, collaborating with clients to create customized solutions, and effectively presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Design and launch user-centric applications for complex situations, challenging existing norms, and nurturing a culture of innovation within the team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • More than 10 years of experience in Software Product Management, with a focus on driving revenue and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated success in cultivating strong client relationships and delivering comprehensive solutions.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment with strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis utilizing tools such as SQL and Excel.
  • Experience with geospatial technologies like Google, HERE, and ESRI is a plus.
  • Previous experience in startups and global technology firms is advantageous.
  • Background in developing both Consumer and Enterprise products is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with creating products that encompass hardware, software, and services is desirable.
