Regional Marketing Lead for Growth Platforms in EMEA

As the Regional Marketing Lead for Growth Platforms, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy for Herbs, Spices, and Seasonings across the EMEA region. Reporting to the EMEA Growth Platforms Director, your primary focus will be to develop a comprehensive three-year strategy for product innovation and renovation. Collaborating closely with local marketing teams, you will identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, working alongside cross-functional teams including Commercialization, Insights, R&D, Supply Chain, and Culinary to create impactful plans that enhance sales and profitability.

Insights & Analytics:

  • Utilize ongoing business analytics to track Category and New Product Development (NPD) performance across the EMEA region.
  • Act as the consumer insights specialist for your designated focus areas, leveraging consumer trends and research.
  • Collaborate with the Insights & Analytics team to transform data and research into actionable insights, identifying opportunities for category innovation and renovation.
  • Conduct post-evaluation assessments for NPD and renovation initiatives, integrating learnings into future strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver regular business presentations to key stakeholders and senior leadership across various markets.

Strategy & Planning:

  • Spearhead the development of a three-year strategy for Herbs, Spices, and Seasonings, influencing the product pipeline and activation plans.
  • Oversee the innovation and renovation process through all stages, ensuring stakeholder alignment from ideation to market execution.
  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly global innovation updates for senior leadership.
  • Support sustainability initiatives to meet corporate goals.
  • Serve as the key regional representative for your portfolio, coordinating with global teams as necessary.

Commercial Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for achieving established innovation targets with profit and loss responsibility.
  • Engage in product life cycle management, driving efficiencies through simplification.
  • Collaborate with category management, sales, and omnichannel representatives to define optimal channel strategies.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead a team of two experienced professionals, empowering them to excel in their roles.
  • Manage team workload and priorities, ensuring resources are balanced effectively.
  • Balance immediate priorities with long-term objectives.
  • Foster collaboration and active listening among key stakeholders to determine effective action plans.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Proven experience in FMCG innovation and brand development at a relevant level.
  • Strong line management experience, supporting team growth and development.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset, proficient in utilizing tools like Nielsen and Kantar.
  • Comprehensive marketing knowledge, understanding the interplay of various marketing strategies.
  • Consumer-focused approach, adept at extracting insights from market research.
  • Expertise in NPD and renovation, capable of influencing and collaborating to achieve category growth.
