Regional Marketing Lead for Growth Platforms

As the Regional Marketing Lead for Growth Platforms, you will report directly to the Director of Growth Platforms for the EMEA region. Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the strategic direction for our Herbs, Spices, and Seasonings portfolio across the EMEA market. This role involves crafting a comprehensive three-year strategy that encompasses both product innovation and renovation.

Insights & Analytics:

  • Utilize ongoing business analytics to evaluate category and new product development performance throughout the EMEA region.
  • Serve as the consumer insights authority for your designated focus areas, leveraging current consumer trends and research.
  • Collaborate closely with the Insights & Analytics team to transform data and research findings into actionable insights, identifying opportunities for category innovation and renovation.
  • Conduct post-evaluation analyses for new product development and renovations, incorporating learnings into future strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular business updates to key stakeholders and senior leadership across local markets and regional teams.

Strategy & Planning:

  • Lead the formulation of a three-year strategic plan for Herbs, Spices, and Seasonings, shaping the product pipeline and activation strategies for your areas.
  • Oversee the innovation and renovation processes through all stages, ensuring stakeholder alignment from ideation to market execution.
  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly global innovation updates for senior leadership.
  • Support the sustainability initiatives to meet corporate goals.
  • Act as the primary regional contact for your portfolio, engaging with global teams as necessary.

Commercial Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving set innovation targets while managing P&L.
  • Contribute to product lifecycle management, focusing on driving efficiencies through simplification.
  • Collaborate with category management, sales, and omnichannel representatives to define optimal channel strategies.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Supervise a team of two experienced professionals, empowering them to take ownership of their responsibilities.
  • Manage team workload and priorities, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Balance immediate priorities with long-term objectives.
  • Foster collaboration and active listening with key stakeholders, influencing teams to align with strategic priorities.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Demonstrated success in FMCG innovation and brand development at a relevant level.
  • Strong experience in team management, fostering growth and development among team members.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset, proficient in utilizing tools like Nielsen and Kantar for insights.
  • Comprehensive marketing experience, understanding the interplay of various marketing strategies.
  • Consumer-focused approach, adept at deriving insights from market research and trends.
  • Expertise in new product development and renovation, with a clear vision for category growth.
