Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified professional to enhance our Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team in Cambridge. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional mental health services.
The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to offer advanced psychological assessments and contribute to the strategic planning and management of patients with complex needs. You will also play a crucial role in advising other teams and services regarding treatment options and referral processes.
As a key member of our team, you will operate independently while adhering to professional standards and the established protocols of our organization. Your role will involve utilizing research methodologies for audits, policy formulation, and service enhancement, as well as providing guidance to senior management on evaluating team performance and developing outcome measures.
Regular clinical and managerial supervision will be available to support your daily responsibilities, and you will be expected to participate in a rotating schedule of early, late, and night shifts. Opportunities for professional growth and development in advanced training and leadership roles are also available.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be part of the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, which operates a comprehensive mental health service around the clock, seven days a week, within a community context.
This team is responsible for providing immediate responses and psychosocial evaluations to individuals experiencing a variety of mental health crises. Our referral sources include Liaison Psychiatry, First Response Service, and adult mental health services.
Important Note:
This position requires independent travel across the county to meet strict deadlines. A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential, as public transport is not a viable option for fulfilling service requirements. Please confirm your eligibility in your application.
