We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Duty Practitioner in the 136 Suite at Fulbourn Hospital, Cambridge. As a key member of our crisis response team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and management to individuals in mental health crisis.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure effective access and use of the s136 facility is in place.
- Provide 24-hour leadership and management of the clinical area, including effective team leadership and acting as an experienced clinician in acute and rehabilitation services.
- Ensure an effective therapeutic environment exists for patients and provide excellent learning opportunities for students.
- Lead and motivate staff to achieve the highest standards in delivering care to patients.

Our clinical teams deliver a range of NHS services, including mental and physical health, forensic and specialist mental health, learning disabilities, primary care, and research and development.
Key Requirements- Relevant professional mental health qualification to degree or diploma level.
- Understanding of individuals with complex needs.
- Ability to manage and supervise other staff.
- Knowledge of up-to-date legislation, national and local policies relating to the Section 136 Police holding powers.
- Completed training in leadership or in the process of completing a leadership course.
- ENB 998 or equivalent.
- Ability to travel between locations as required.
