People Operations Partner

Following an internal advancement, we are currently seeking a People Operations Partner for our collection of upscale lifestyle hotels.

The People Operations Partner combines a business-focused and technical perspective while collaborating with the Hotels' leadership teams as a strategic ally in achieving the organization's overall goals and vision. In this role, you will ensure that managers and team members receive expert front-line support and guidance, and that action plans and objectives are executed effectively. This position works closely with the Regional HR team to co-create, implement, and evaluate corporate People Development & HR strategic action plans, policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives.

As our People Operations Partner, you will be required to divide your time between various properties and be adept at managing multiple brands.

Key Responsibilities of the People Operations Partner include:

  • Collaborate with line managers to enhance engagement across their business areas, developing performance and retention strategies, and co-creating targeted action plans by enhancing managers' leadership skills in alignment with identified needs and competencies.
  • Provide support for advanced and escalated employee relations casework, assisting HR Officers as needed, and advising managers on appropriate actions and outcomes in accordance with company resolution policies.
  • Mentor and assist senior leaders and heads of departments on labor market trends, available talent, and effective strategies for attracting, recruiting, and retaining new team members.
  • Oversee property Talent Management initiatives to ensure optimal performance, solid succession plans, and a pipeline of ready talent mapped to future opportunities.
  • Ensure that identified talent is proactively developed in alignment with individual and organizational needs, and that all key roles have Performance Development Plans established.
  • Provide people-related management information and analysis to the business, making informed recommendations as necessary.
  • Ensure exit interviews are conducted in line with company guidelines, with appropriate analysis completed and findings shared as relevant. Personally conduct all senior leadership exit interviews.
  • Perform periodic reviews of organizational structures and roles to ensure efficiency and suitability.
  • Develop and manage a budget for the assigned business areas.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in supporting the needs of line managers and team members, as well as the evolving demands and priorities of the business.
  • Ensure that all activities comply with national laws and regulations, management decisions, and operating policies and procedures.
