We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Human Resources Business Partner to become a vital part of our organization. In this position, the HRBP will be tasked with delivering strategic advice, mentorship, and support to leaders and team members across various regions, including London, APAC, and Europe, while also extending assistance to other offices as needed.
This role will report directly to the Director of People & Culture in London and will encompass all aspects of human resources, such as onboarding, compliance with employment laws, employee relations, performance management, and career development. The HRBP will also collaborate closely with the global People team to address the administrative and operational requirements of the HR department, ensuring the effective execution of HR programs and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion an understanding of and commitment to the organization's culture, vision, and values.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations on organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and succession strategies.
- Advise and educate on policy, practice, and procedural inquiries.
- Act as a trusted consultant to managers and employees regarding HR-related matters.
- Independently manage employee relations challenges while balancing employee advocacy with organizational interests.
- Oversee the complete cycle of employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Utilize knowledge of employment law to mitigate risks and ensure compliance in daily team management.
- Collaborate with recruitment teams to attract and secure top talent.
- Manage the onboarding process to create a welcoming and engaging experience for new hires.
- Work alongside leaders and team members to enhance workplace relationships, boost engagement, and improve retention rates.
- Guide leaders and team members in effectively applying the performance review process to foster optimal performance and alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure that core HR processes and internal controls are executed consistently and accurately.
- Participate in HR team initiatives and support daily administrative and operational HR functions as needed.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
- Collaborate with the Director of People & Culture on projects that span multiple regions.
- Perform additional projects or responsibilities as assigned.
- Administer monthly payroll and conduct payroll audits.
- Engage in the annual compensation review process.
- Manage benefits administration and oversight.
- Provide necessary reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, with five or more years of progressive HR generalist or business partner experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships across various business functions and levels.
- Strong project management capabilities, with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple demands.
- Excellent analytical skills and a solid understanding of business principles.
- High level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), HRIS, and payroll systems.
FLSA Status: Exempt
