People Business and Operations Partner

Spire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled People Business and Operations Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the Outer London Hub, driving business outcomes, and delivering exceptional HR services.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of HR services across the hub, working closely with hospital-based HR teams to deliver a high-quality employee lifecycle journey.
- Support the hospital HR teams in managing complex ER caseloads, delivering training, and driving project People activity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance colleague experience, working with hospital HR teams and People Centres of Expertise.
- Oversee employee relations cases in the hub, acting as a point of escalation for complex cases and leading as required.
- Develop actionable employee engagement plans, working with senior leaders to facilitate challenge and ensure momentum.
- Understand and anticipate the need for change, diagnose underlying issues, and build the case for change with stakeholders.
- Help upskill HR Advisors and line managers in managing investigations and employee relations matters.
- Ensure cases within the hub are recorded correctly and managed consistently using WorkPro.
- Develop a People plan for the hub, maximizing workforce opportunities and addressing challenges such as retention and future skills.
- Understand equality and diversity demographics across the hub, working with hospitals on initiatives to improve inclusivity and representation.
- Conduct regular talent and succession exercises for the Hub, ensuring succession plans are in place and acted on.
- Work with the wider People Operations team to identify and facilitate development opportunities for internal talent mobility.
- Understand performance drivers and challenges within the Hub, working with Hospital Management Teams and People team to continuously improve workforce performance.
- Dotted-line management responsibility for local HR teams in the hub, supporting the Hospital Director with line management.
- Coach and develop local HR teams, working with them to understand their career aspirations and development areas.
