Since our inception, we have facilitated billions in funding for over 100,000 businesses, establishing ourselves as a prominent player in the European Fintech landscape. Our ambition is to finance one million businesses, and we aim to achieve this by making our financial solutions increasingly relevant and accessible through innovative technology, data analytics, and exceptional customer service.

Your Role:

We are seeking a dedicated People Operations Partner to join our dynamic team for a six-month fixed-term contract. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of our managers through effective coaching and mentoring, enabling them to become outstanding leaders and foster high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate smooth performance and salary review processes for the teams you support.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Employee Relations matters, addressing performance issues, disciplinary actions, grievances, and more.
  • Lead strategic initiatives aimed at improving cross-team collaboration, well-being programs, and managerial training.
  • Coordinate payroll changes and benefits administration for your designated business areas with our People Experience team.

Some of the teams you will support operate in Germany, so familiarity with German employment regulations is advantageous, though not mandatory. A commitment to understanding the cultural dynamics in Germany and ensuring that our German colleagues feel valued within the Iwoca team is essential.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Solid experience in Human Resources within a high-growth environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, even in fast-paced situations.
  • A genuine interest in HR strategy and innovation, with a proactive approach to learning through blogs, webinars, and podcasts.

While not required, the following skills would be beneficial:

  • Proficiency in data analytics, particularly with tools like Google Sheets.
  • Experience working with teams based in Germany or knowledge of German Employment Law.
Benefits:

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Employee share options scheme.
  • Medical insurance with Vitality, including discounted gym memberships.
  • Access to a private GP service for you and your dependents.
  • 25 days of annual leave, an additional day off for your birthday, and options to buy or sell extra leave.
  • A fully paid sabbatical after four years of service.
  • Immediate access to mental health support.
  • 3% pension contributions.
  • Generous parental leave and nursery tax benefits.
  • Cycle-to-work and electric car schemes.
  • A dedicated learning and development budget for all employees.

Join us in our mission to support small businesses and make a meaningful impact in the Fintech industry.
