Pendragon Vehicle Management is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our expanding team. This exciting opportunity will see you playing a pivotal role in driving growth within the South of England region.

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities. Your success will be measured by your ability to achieve ambitious sales targets, consistently deliver exceptional customer service, and contribute to the overall growth of our vehicle rental division.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts within your designated territory.
  • Build strong rapport with key decision-makers in target organizations, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of rental services and exceptional client experiences.
  • Track sales performance metrics, analyze data trends, and generate insightful reports to inform strategic decision-making.
Your Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role within the automotive industry, particularly vehicle rental, is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a proactive mindset and a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
