Role Overview

The Vendor Operations Manager at Barclays plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of our Execution Services division. This position entails the oversight of operational processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing effective risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement, developing new procedures as necessary.
  • Oversee the management of operations within a designated business area, promoting effective processes and compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders and service providers, to align operations with organizational objectives.
  • Guide and mentor operational staff, enhancing their performance and delivery quality.
  • Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of operational functions, leveraging data and technology for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies to enhance customer experience.
  • Create an environment that encourages open communication, actively seeking feedback to focus on key personnel issues.
  • Work closely with Human Resources to implement strategies aimed at workforce retention.
