We are seeking a dedicated physiotherapist to take on a pivotal role within our esteemed team. Our multidisciplinary team comprises consultants, physiotherapists, orthotists, clinical scientists, and technicians, all working collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities
Leadership Duties
1. Assume the role of physiotherapy team leader, overseeing the management of team members.
2. Conduct advanced physiotherapeutic evaluations for patients presenting with a variety of complex physical and psychological conditions, formulating diagnoses and individualized treatment plans.
3. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess and recommend treatments for patients with diverse gait abnormalities, utilizing advanced methodologies such as clinical assessments and movement analysis.
4. Provide supervision, mentorship, and evaluation for physiotherapy students, ensuring alignment with academic standards.
5. Lead quality improvement initiatives, audits, and evidence-based projects to enhance clinical practices.
Organizational Responsibilities
1. Engage in the strategic development and management of ORLAU as a member of the senior management team.
2. Facilitate team meetings and project discussions as necessary.
3. Conduct performance appraisals and manage team dynamics, including attendance and leave requests.
4. Collaborate with clinical leadership to develop physiotherapy job plans.
5. Oversee the coordination of junior staff and students, ensuring effective service delivery.
Clinical Responsibilities
1. Maintain professional accountability for all clinical activities, ensuring high standards of patient care.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with movement impairments, employing advanced clinical reasoning and manual techniques.
3. Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies based on evidence-based practices.
4. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, fostering understanding and compliance with treatment plans.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and departmental standards.
