Role Overview: We are seeking a committed Relief Care Worker to join our dedicated team. This position involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of exceptional care to our residents. You will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that promotes well-being and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal and intimate care, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Support the use of necessary aids and equipment to enhance residents' quality of life.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to coordinate care effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and personalized living space for each resident.
  • Encourage and promote mental and physical activities tailored to individual needs.
  • Monitor and manage nutritional requirements to support health and well-being.
  • Handle emergency communications and calls with professionalism.

Qualifications: Ideal candidates should possess an SVQ 3 in Social Care or be willing to pursue this qualification. Basic computer skills are essential for completing mandatory training. A respectful attitude towards our Christian ethos is required, along with membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
