We are seeking a dynamic and engaging individual to join our team. Our organization provides diverse support services to individuals with additional needs, including residential care and activity-based day services.

Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory. We provide an outstanding training and induction program for all new team members.

As a Care Support Specialist with Leonard Cheshire, you will be part of a dedicated team. Each day brings new experiences, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, medication management, and meal support.
  • Accompanying and aiding individuals within the service and at external events and appointments.
  • Promoting our Person-Centered approach, encouraging independence and helping clients achieve their personal goals.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

To excel in this position, you will need to:

  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Work flexibly and creatively with clients and their families.
  • Possess personal care experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Thrive under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Be willing to work within scheduled hours and participate in an on-call rota as needed.
