Position Overview: We are seeking a committed Relief Care Worker to join our compassionate team. In this role, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal and intimate care, ensuring dignity and respect.
- Support the use of necessary aids and equipment to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals to coordinate care effectively.
- Maintain a clean and personalised living environment for residents.
- Encourage mental and physical engagement through various activities.
- Monitor nutritional needs and assist with meal planning.
- Manage emergency communications and respond to urgent situations.
Qualifications: Ideal candidates should possess an SVQ 3 in Social Care or be willing to obtain this qualification. Basic computer skills are essential for completing mandatory training. You must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registered with the Scottish Social Services Council.
