About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Communications & Engagement Officer to join our team at Page Personnel Public Sector & Not for profit. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing internal communications strategies that engage and inform our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Deliver Internal Communications Strategies
    • Support the development and ongoing delivery of the Internal Communications and Engagement Strategy, including evaluation and reporting.
    • Lead on the planning, development, and delivery of new, complex projects and campaigns, from inception to delivery.
  • Communicate Effectively with Diverse Audiences
    • Devise and deliver high-quality communication plans for individual projects that align with organisational goals and objectives and meet the needs of diverse staff audiences.
    • Create and edit clear, engaging, and informative audience-appropriate content for a variety of internal communication channels, ensuring effective quality assurance and governance and maintaining consistent messaging and tone.
  • Support Crisis Communications and Employee Engagement
    • Contribute to the internal communication response to developing and crisis situations that affect organisational perception and internal reputation.
    • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to support and lead on a range of employee engagement activities, such as workshops or other face-to-face events.
Requirements
  • Substantial Track Record of Developing Content
    • Substantial track record of developing content across a variety of platforms and for a diverse range of audiences, including excellent written and oral communication skills, presenting complex information in a clear and understandable form, and presenting information in an influential and confident way.
  • Experience of Using Creative Communication Tools
    • Experience of using a range of creative communication tools and digital platforms to engage and communicate with diverse audiences and use technology to drive change and improve processes.
  • Strong Planning and Stakeholder Management Skills
    • Strong planning skills, including the ability to successfully organise and prioritise work.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building experience and skills, including a tried and tested ability to influence senior colleagues.
  • Ability to Monitor Communication Metrics
    • Ability to monitor communication metrics and implement evaluation tools to enhance processes and drive improved performance.
