Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications and Engagement Manager to join our client, a leading organisation making great advancements in achieving Net Zero Plans. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving all employee communications activities, including internal events, and developing and delivering the internal communication strategy in line with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Communications Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive communications strategy and plan in line with the organisation's business objectives, ensuring effective communication channels and processes are in place to support the business.
  • Internal Communications: Deliver all internal communications in accordance with the comms plan, including the development and maintenance of the company intranet, planning, editing, and writing content for various internal communications mediums, and responding to feedback from staff.
  • Employee Engagement: Work with the People team to implement the employee engagement strategy, ensure employee engagement surveys, pulse surveys, polls, etc. are effectively communicated and completed across the organisation, and develop ad-hoc communications as needed.
  • Event Management: Responsible for the delivery of all internal events, including away days and other people engagement activities, and direct line management for Communications Coordinator.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar role with excellent written and verbal communication skills and great organisational skills.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of internal digital and social media tools and how they can be used to connect and positively influence engagement.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, great organisational skills, and ability to work in an ever-changing business environment.
