About the Role: Recovery Support Worker

As a Recovery Support Worker, you will play a vital role in guiding individuals on their journey to recovery. You will provide personalized support, encouragement, and practical assistance to help them overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with clients based on trust, empathy, and respect.
  • Conduct individual and group sessions to facilitate recovery planning, skill-building, and peer support.
  • Assist clients in accessing essential resources, such as housing, healthcare, and employment services.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and support to ensure client progress and well-being.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals in recovery.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with individuals facing substance use or mental health challenges (preferred).
  • Knowledge of recovery principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
