The Role: Housing Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and driven Housing Worker to join our team in Sudbury. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting individuals residing in our supported housing program. Your primary focus will be to assist residents in maintaining their tenancy, fostering independence, and achieving their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans in collaboration with residents, ensuring their aspirations and needs are at the forefront.
  • Provide guidance and practical assistance in areas such as domestic skills, financial management, and accessing essential services.
  • Encourage residents to engage in meaningful activities, including work, leisure pursuits, and educational opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident progress and interventions through our IT system.
  • Collaborate effectively with external stakeholders, such as GP surgeries, local authorities, and community organizations.
