Recovery Worker

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Richmond Fellowship's Meridan House. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health issues to maintain their independence and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to help individuals achieve their aspirations
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support
  • Contribute to a culture of recovery and resilience, inspiring individuals to reach their full potential

Requirements

  • Understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience
  • Caring and compassionate nature, with empathy and enthusiasm for helping others
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a weekly rota system and be available for on-call duties
