About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Specialist to join our team at Recovery Focus. As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health issues to maintain their independence and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to help individuals achieve their recovery goals
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and other professionals to provide a comprehensive support network
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals to help them manage their mental health
  • Assist individuals in developing life skills and accessing community resources
  • Contribute to a strengths-based approach, helping individuals to build resilience and independence

Requirements

  • Understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience
  • Caring and compassionate nature, with empathy and enthusiasm for helping others
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to be part of a weekly rota system and available for on-call duties
