Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Specialist to join our team at Recovery Focus. As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health issues to maintain their independence and achieve their goals.

About the Role

As a Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for working with individuals to develop personalized support plans that address their unique needs and goals. You will provide guidance and support to help individuals develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently, including domestic and finance management skills, as well as accessing work, leisure, or educational opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans that address the unique needs and goals of individuals
  • Provide guidance and support to help individuals develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently
  • Work with individuals to identify and access community resources and services that support their recovery
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of mental health issues and a compassionate and empathetic approach to working with individuals. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to participate in a weekly rota system and be available for on-call duties.
