Role: Brain Injury Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing vital care and support to individuals with complex health needs, particularly those with brain injuries. You will play a crucial role in ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility support, and meal preparation.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and diligently monitor clients' health conditions.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and promptly report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Support Worker, preferably in a setting focused on complex care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature, demonstrating genuine care for the well-being of others.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a dedicated team.
  • Flexibility to adhere to the specified working hours.
