About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Recovery Focus. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to help individuals achieve their goals and aspirations
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Collaborate with external agencies, such as GP surgeries and local councils, to ensure seamless support for individuals
  • Enter accurate case notes onto our IT system, ensuring effective record-keeping and data management
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of service strategies

Requirements

  • Experience working in a mental health or social care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of drug and alcohol issues, county lines, and antisocial behavior
  • Access to a vehicle for business purposes (mileage expenses paid)
