Your role will involve overseeing the daily operations of the leisure center, providing leadership and direction to the reception staff, pool attendants, and activity coordinators to ensure the highest quality of service for members and guests. You will also be responsible for effectively addressing any escalated customer service matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and collaborate with support staff and housekeeping to resolve any issues promptly.
- Develop and manage the team schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels align with operational needs, including payroll processing.
- Lead the recruitment and onboarding of new team members into the leisure department.
- Ensure the successful execution of recreational activities for children by coordinating staff assignments and assisting with setup and preparation as necessary.
- Guarantee that all personnel are properly trained and that regulations are followed by all team members, service providers, and patrons, with the support of the Leisure Manager.
- Act as a qualified first responder in emergency situations.
- Oversee daily operational checklists and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist guests in utilizing leisure amenities, including fitness centers, swimming pools, tennis courts, and spa services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, providing information about facilities and services, and resolving any concerns.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless experience for guests and promote recreational services.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally within a leisure, hospitality, or fitness context.
- A genuine passion for health, fitness, and delivering outstanding service to guests.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
