Facilities Helpdesk Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Facilities Helpdesk Officer - Procurement Support. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement function, working closely with our Supply Chain and Logistics team to deliver high-quality services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Receiving and Processing Deliveries: Receive deliveries from suppliers, check against purchase order details, sign for and receipt goods on the system.
- Logistics Support: Ensure non-stock deliveries are placed in a designated area ready for collection by the Logistics Representative for delivery to the user department.
- Assisting with Package Movement: Assist the Logistics Representatives with the movement and collection of packages/pallets/tote bins/roll cages to/from user departments.
- Delivery and Collection: Sort and deliver roll cages, tote bins/pallets from NHS Supply Chain into delivery areas, and collect daily empty roll cages/tote bins.
- Goods Receipt and Verification: Assist in the receipt of non-stock goods delivered by suppliers, check delivery note for accuracy, check outside of parcels for any damage, sign for contents (goods).
- System Updates: Assist in checking the contents (goods) against the computerized order and delivery note and enter the details onto the Trust's computerized 'E' Procurement system.
- Communication and Liaison: Liaise with delivery drivers regarding any queries raised at the time of delivery, redirect delivery drivers to other delivery areas within the Trust, and liaise with medical/administration staff who have any queries regarding their delivery.
- Additional Responsibilities: Assist with any telephone queries regarding deliveries, attend mandatory training, and participate in career development opportunities.
