About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at a busy GP Practice in a supportive and friendly environment. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling patient inquiries
  • Provide administrative support to the practice team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and medical information
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the practice calendar
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, staff, and external partners

Requirements:

  • Good computer skills and experience with practice management software
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness, as well as work variable hours
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
