Principal Technical Support Analyst

Our client, a leading energy company operator, is seeking a skilled Principal Technical Support Analyst to join their team in the UK.

Role Overview

As a Principal Technical Support Analyst, you'll play a vital role in our IT department, overseeing the Service Desk team and providing expert technical support.

Responsibilities
  • Supervisory: Lead and coordinate the Service Desk team, ensuring efficient resolution of end-user issues and analyzing Service Desk trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Technical: Provide 1st and 2nd line support to users, build and deploy IT equipment, troubleshoot and repair hardware, and ensure compliance with IT security standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a Service Desk environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, IT hardware, software, networks, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • A business-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Demonstrable experience as a Technical Support Analyst or similar role.
