Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the manager in fulfilling the objectives outlined in the Statement of Purpose.
  • Act as the deputy in the absence of the Registered Manager.
  • Support and supervise staff to ensure they effectively meet the needs of children and young people.
  • Engage in direct work with children and young people as necessary.
  • Take responsibility for managing child protection issues and addressing complaints.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young individuals.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to senior staff in accordance with Care Quality Standards and Children's Homes Regulations 2015.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

  • Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Currently pursuing or holding a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare
  • Valid driving license

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year’s relevant supervisory experience within the care sector
