Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the manager in fulfilling the objectives outlined in the Statement of Purpose.
  • Act as the deputy in the absence of the Registered Manager.
  • Support and oversee staff to ensure they effectively meet the needs of children and young people.
  • Engage in direct interactions with children and young people as required.
  • Be the designated individual responsible for managing child protection issues and complaints.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young individuals.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to senior staff in accordance with Care Quality Standards and Children's Homes Regulations 2015.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

  • Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Currently pursuing or possessing a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare.
  • Valid driving license.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of relevant supervisory experience within the care sector.
