Solar Energy Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious engineer to enhance our project development team at Fuse Energy. You will be part of a dynamic, high-performance group, gaining direct exposure to top talent from leading companies.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves collaborating with the core project engineering team to design and implement renewable energy solutions, particularly large-scale ground-mounted solar projects. You will also have opportunities to engage in the commercial and strategic aspects of the business, including mergers and acquisitions and the expansion of new business lines. A strong emphasis will be placed on adaptability and leveraging your engineering expertise to tackle new challenges. We are open to hiring both seasoned professionals and recent graduates, with multiple openings available.

Specific tasks include:

  • Conducting grid assessments and analyzing distribution and transmission systems.
  • Performing design and yield evaluation for large-scale solar installations (using tools like PVSyst, SLDs, etc.).
  • Managing the performance of our existing renewable energy assets.
  • Overseeing development projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
  • Creating financial models for new development initiatives and M&A opportunities.
  • Conducting technical due diligence.
  • Managing suppliers and contractors.
  • Developing generation strategies, including site selection and project planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience or 0-2 years for recent graduates.
  • Proven track record of outstanding performance.
  • Persistent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn rapidly and adapt.
  • Strong capability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary.
