Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee commercial solar PV projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to specifications, and budget management.
  • Technical Design: Design optimized commercial solar installations, utilizing tools like PVSyst to maximize project yield, across rooftops, car ports, and other structures.
  • Grid Connections: Prepare and submit G99 applications to relevant network authorities, manage connections, and ensure seamless integration with the grid.
  • Business Development and Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to establish and expand the commercial solar PV business, identifying new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the industry.
  • Financial and Operational Management: Perform financial modeling for project feasibility, investments, and M&A activities, manage contracts, and negotiate with suppliers and contractors.
Requirements
  • Experience in commercial solar design and project management, with an electrical background.
  • Experience in grid connections and electrical certifications (Level 3, etc.) are highly valued.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the industry, with a track record of successfully deployed commercial projects exceeding 100kW.
  • Able to cover the entire UK.
