Your Role

As a Lead Solar Energy Engineer, you will be instrumental in crafting innovative solar PV solutions for clients who prioritize technical excellence, efficiency, and sustainability. Collaborating with our talented solar professionals worldwide, you will engage in a variety of consulting projects, encompassing stages from initial feasibility assessments to detailed engineering and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Overseeing the delivery of consultancy projects within the Solar PV sector, from conceptualization to detailed engineering and owner's engineering services during implementation.
  2. Creating technical solutions, including the design of solar PV layouts for commercial and utility-scale projects, optimizing plant size, and managing assessments of necessary infrastructure such as structural and land evaluations.
  3. Coordinating with electrical engineers, battery energy storage system (BESS) specialists, and planning consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.
  4. Engaging with suppliers and contractors to gather proposals and develop comprehensive project cost estimates.
  5. Assisting in the formulation of the solar PV business strategy.
  6. Conducting due diligence and providing technical insights for proposals and bids.
  7. Representing the company at conferences and renewable energy events.
  8. Mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  9. Contributing to the development of internal tools and templates.

You will be part of the Solar PV Centre of Competence within the Power Systems division, contributing to the broader Energy sector. Our organization is at the forefront of the green transition, offering a comprehensive approach to energy that supports the industry in its journey toward sustainable solutions. With a network of 2,000 experts across 14 countries, we cover the entire spectrum of technologies and all facets of the value chain, from production and transmission to distribution, planning, designing, and implementing energy solutions globally.
