Position Overview: We are in search of a proficient and driven Renewable Energy Asset Specialist to become a vital part of our innovative team. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in renewable energy, particularly in solar photovoltaic (PV) system design, investment evaluation, and asset oversight. This position is crucial for maximizing the efficiency and profitability of our renewable energy projects through sophisticated modeling, proactive operational strategies, and comprehensive risk management. Experience in international collaboration is advantageous as this role may involve working with teams from various regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solar PV System Design and Evaluation: Supervise the design and assessment of solar PV systems for multiple projects, ensuring adherence to standards and optimal performance.
  • Investment Analysis: Perform thorough evaluations of prospective investments, concentrating on technical parameters.
  • Technical Evaluation and Financial Viability: Conduct detailed assessments of energy yield predictions, degradation rates, and maintenance needs.
  • Cost Profiling: Create detailed profiles for capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operational expenditures (OPEX) associated with projects.
  • Risk-Adjusted Return Assessment: Analyze investment opportunities by evaluating their risk-adjusted returns through data-driven insights.
  • Sensitivity Assessment: Identify potential risks and opportunities through the analysis of critical input variables.
  • Energy Production Modeling: Employ advanced software tools to simulate energy production capabilities.
  • Proactive Operational Strategies: Formulate proactive approaches to enhance asset performance and durability.
  • Risk Mitigation: Recognize and address risks linked to renewable energy assets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Continuous Development: Remain informed about industry advancements and implement enhancements accordingly.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in technical asset oversight, solar PV design, and energy evaluation.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in industry-standard analytical tools.
  • Strong grasp of financial modeling and investment evaluation in the renewable energy sector.
