Job Description

Quintas Energy is seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our team as an Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale solar energy and a proven track record in managing operational solar parks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Management: Supervise O&M contractors, conduct regular site visits to identify potential weaknesses, and ensure full production and generating capacity.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to clients and QE line managers, participate in meetings with O&Ms, clients, and QE teams, and ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to other members of the QE Technical Asset Management team, address queries and requests, and review the correct execution of works performed by O&Ms.
  • Health and Safety: Coordinate with contractors to implement H&S measures, manage mandatory inspections, and ensure compliance with national regulations and industry standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify AC/DC test results, read and understand SLDs, and identify potential weaknesses that may lead to loss of generation or premature failure.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Energy or Electrical Engineering, equivalent to 2:1 or higher, and post-graduate qualification in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Five years minimum experience in the Renewable Energy sector, including site inspections (ideally PV and BESS).
  • Skills: Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills, medium-high level of Microsoft Office, and fluency in the English language.
  • Travel: Flexibility to travel throughout the UK with overnight stays when required, and a full clean driving licence.
