Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Renewable Energy Engineer to join our project development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working on the development and operation of large-scale ground mount solar projects, as well as contributing to the commercial and strategic growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct grid scoping and deep diving distribution and transmission infrastructure analysis.
  • Design and yield assessment work for large-scale ground mount solar projects, utilizing tools such as PVSyst and SLDs.
  • Manage the asset portfolio of our existing fleet of renewable generators.
  • Lead development projects through their entire lifecycle, from conception to commissioning.
  • Develop financial models for new development projects and M&A targets.
  • Perform technical due diligence on potential projects and assets.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors.
  • Contribute to generation strategy development, including determining what projects to build and where.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering from a top university.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, or 0-2 years of experience for graduate stream.
  • Proven track record of exceptional achievement and a relentless approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to learn quickly and iterate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • London-based or willing to relocate.
