Sustainable Energy Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled engineer to enhance our project development team at Fuse Energy. As part of a dynamic and focused group, you will gain direct experience working alongside top talent from leading companies.

Key ResponsibilitiesThis position involves collaborating with the core project engineering team to design and implement renewable energy solutions, particularly in large-scale solar installations. There will also be opportunities to engage in the commercial and strategic aspects of the business, including mergers and acquisitions and the expansion of new business avenues. Adaptability and the ability to tackle engineering challenges in innovative ways will be essential.
Specific tasks include:
- Conducting in-depth analysis of distribution and transmission infrastructure.
- Performing design and yield assessments for large-scale solar projects.
- Managing the performance of our existing renewable energy assets.
- Overseeing development projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Creating financial models for new development initiatives and potential acquisition targets.
- Conducting technical due diligence.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Developing generation strategies to determine optimal projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
- 2+ years of relevant experience, or 0-2 years for recent graduates.
- Proven track record of outstanding accomplishments.
- Persistent problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to learn rapidly and adapt.
- Strong teamwork and individual work capabilities.
- Willingness to relocate if necessary.
