Position: Senior Project Engineer - Solar PV & BESS

JD Ross Energy is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Engineer with a strong background in renewable energy to oversee and guide a variety of design services for our extensive portfolio of Solar PV and battery energy storage systems. The ideal candidate will bring expertise across all stages of an asset's lifecycle, from initial acquisition to the operational phase of multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting pre-planning evaluations for the feasibility of PV and BESS construction.
  2. Assessing grid connection construction viability.
  3. Overseeing design processes to facilitate planning approvals.
  4. Managing design and engineering tasks in collaboration with EPX, ICP contractors, and OEMs.
  5. Focusing on PV, BESS, and high-voltage plant technologies.
  6. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of technical, commercial, and legal experts.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
  2. Proven experience in utility-scale renewable energy projects.
  3. Familiarity with Solar PV and/or BESS technologies.
  4. Comprehensive understanding of regulations and standards related to utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.
  5. Exceptional project management capabilities.
