ISS UK & I is embarking on a transformative journey to enhance our workforce management strategies. As part of this initiative, we are modernizing our HR technology framework to streamline our recruitment, onboarding, data management, and service delivery processes.

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled HR Technology Manager to join our dynamic team. In this capacity, you will play a vital role in the deployment of our new systems, establishing the governance, structure, and processes necessary to empower our organization.

Post-implementation, you will be responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of these systems.

Reporting to the Head of IT Functional Partnering – Central, the HR Technology Manager will act as the technical steward of our People/HR technology.

You will serve as a key functional liaison with our People & Culture (HR) Department, which operationally manages the systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitating the rollout of a new HR System from project phase to business-as-usual operations
  • Delivering technical support to end users and serving as the escalation point for the People & Culture operational systems team
  • Overseeing the IT People Systems Technical Administrator role
  • Ensuring proper governance of access to HR technology and data in compliance with GDPR and internal IT Security Standards
  • Implementing relevant IT General Controls and supporting Internal and External Audit requirements
  • Tracking and reporting on the performance of IT People Systems
  • Acting as a liaison between People & Culture, Internal IT Teams, IT suppliers, and other key stakeholders
  • Providing technical governance for the UK&I People & Culture technology landscape and architecture
  • Leading technical initiatives for all people systems and related enhancements

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals with proven experience in:

  • Successfully leading collaborative projects
  • Managing HR Information Systems (SAP SuccessFactors / HRIS / HCM solutions or similar)
  • Building strong partnerships with senior stakeholders
  • Implementing end user support processes
  • Understanding Data Management principles, GDPR, and Data Governance policies
  • Driving change and supporting the adoption of innovative practices
  • Exhibiting strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrating excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment while exercising sound judgment
  • Possessing a strong intellectual curiosity and business insight

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

  • Various HR Information System modules or SAP SuccessFactors (e.g., Employee Central, Learning Management, Recruitment, Talent Management)
  • System implementations and data migration projects
  • Utilizing ServiceNow, Jira, or similar case management tools
  • Document management solutions such as DocuSign or Opentext
  • Reporting and Data Extraction/Manipulation Tools
  • Interface design and management
