Department & Position Overview:

The HR Platforms Manager will take charge of managing and optimizing Civica's HR technology systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that HR platforms are effectively utilized to support our HR strategies and processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR technology, coupled with excellent project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of HR technology platforms, including HRIS, ATS, LMS, and other related systems.
  • Continuously assess and enhance HR systems to align with the organization's evolving requirements, identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Ensure effective integration of various HR systems with other business applications to streamline operations and enhance data accuracy.
  • Manage vendor relationships for HR technology, ensuring high-quality service delivery and support while overseeing contract negotiations and vendor performance.
  • Provide training and support to HR team members and stakeholders on the effective use of HR systems, addressing any system-related issues promptly.
  • Safeguard the security and confidentiality of HR data across all platforms, implementing data protection measures in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Lead HR technology initiatives, including system upgrades and new implementations, by developing project plans, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Collaborate with the HR analytics team to ensure that HR systems yield accurate and timely data for reporting and analysis, supporting the creation of dashboards and analytical tools.
  • Work closely with HR leadership, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective HR technology solutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and innovations in HR technology, evaluating new tools and solutions that could benefit the organization and leading their implementation when appropriate.

Requirements:

Essential Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of HR technology platforms and systems.
  • Experience managing HRIS, ATS, LMS, and other HR-related systems.
  • Configuration expertise in platforms such as Workday.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills focused on process enhancement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of data security and data protection regulations.
