**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Analysis Engineer to join our team at the Christchurch City Council. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our 3 Waters Electrical, Instrumentation & Control systems, including SCADA and associated renewals programmes, specifications, and standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support planning, project delivery, asset management, and operation and maintenance teams
  • Drive improvements to processes, quality standards, design standards, and supporting the Long-Term Planning process
  • Provide analysis and advice, requiring up-to-date knowledge of current regulations and associated standards

**Requirements**

  • Tertiary level qualification in engineering (BEng) or equivalent in discipline
  • 10 years of experience with 3 waters reticulated infrastructure, electrical and control systems, or similar
  • Sound and proven experience in automation systems design with a practical and theoretical appreciation and knowledge of industrial networking and protocols and SCADA software

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Knowledge and experience with local government and asset management practices
